Marldon partners with Waldo Works for design and fitting out of Rockwell East
Marldon has partnered with architectural and interior design firm Waldo Works for the development of Rockwell East – Marldon’s ongoing project on Prescot Street that, once completed in the summer of 2018, will see a new apart-hotel with 57 units introduced to the area, which lies just to the east of the City.
Waldo Works have gained a much deserved reputation as a top design firm, offering unique and innovative projects in a number of countries, as well as in some of the most sought after sites in London, including Neo Bankside and Hyde Park. Marldon and Waldo Works have joined forces before, with Waldo Works completely redesigning and refurbishing the bar at The Rockwell Hotel. Tom Bartlett, who founded the company over ten years ago, is overseeing the project at Rockwell East.
Work is still in the early design stages, with the current focus being on the reception and café/restaurant area in which guests will be welcomed to Rockwell East. Marldon is very excited by the current plans however, and is relishing the opportunity of working with a designer of such quality.
