Marldon Offers a Breath of Fresh Air at Rockwell East
As property developers, Marldon are acutely aware of the need to maintain air quality throughout our properties and on our construction sites. Air quality assessments by specialist consultants have been commissioned for Rockwell East and 31, 32 Prescot St.; these recommendations were received and implemented throughout the building. Clean air is drawn from the roof area and pumped through the building via specialist-designed ductwork so that all rooms and common areas feel fresh and habitable. Stale air is simultaneously drawn out and replaced with fresh air.
Throughout the construction project, Marldon has also monitored and tracked CO2 and NOx emissions from delivery vehicles and site vehicles. We have reduced deliveries at all times by combining deliveries where possible and we join the Considerate Constructors Scheme in raising awareness of this vital issue.
